Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen isn't sure if he will be moved during the offseason, but while he waits for an answer, he is trying to keep himself busy. The Panthers can clear $8 million in cap space by moving on from him during the offseason and signs still point towards that happening.

While the Panthers figure out what they would like to do, Olsen will be on TV. According to Joe Person of The Athletic, he will work during the Super Bowl for Fox, and will also be part of the XFL broadcast team for five games.

Olsen sat down for a conversation with new Panthers head coach Matt Rhule, but the two didn't talk specifically about his future. He was impressed with Rhule and said he can see why everyone has such raving reviews about the former Baylor Bears leader.

“Upon meeting him and seeing his press conference, you can see why people speak so highly of him. He’s super impressive, super thoughtful, really does a great job of communicating,” he told The Athletic in a phone interview. “I think as far as a program-builder and everything he was known for, I think it’s pretty clear to see why he had that reputation.”

If Olsen decides to hang it up, or the Panthers decide to move on from him, He already has multiple offers from different TV networks for full-time broadcasting jobs. Even if it isn't this year that he leaves the NFL, whenever he does, it will be a smooth transition to the TV booth.
