While Christian McCaffrey avoided injured reserve with his recent hamstring injury, the Carolina Panthers will still have to adjust to not having their superstar running back for an unknown amount of time.

The Panthers have a big test this weekend as they get set to take on the Dallas Cowboys. Matt Rhule's squad is off a 3-0 start on the season and per the team website, he talked about what the plan will be without having CMC available.

“I think we’re just going to go out and run our offense,” Rhule said, via the team’s website. “Obviously you can’t replace the production of a Christian McCaffrey, but those other players have been waiting for their opportunity, and who knows what they’ll do when given that opportunity. So I don’t think it’s fair or right to Sam and the offensive line to go away from what we’ve been doing we’ve been working on it a long time.”

Chuba Hubbard provided a nice spark for the Panthers when McCaffrey went out in Week 3 against the Houston Texans. The rookie out of Oklahoma State had 11 carries for 52 yards and added 3 receptions for 27 yards as well.

It's not going to be easy for the Panthers as CMC is the focal point of their offense. They do have plenty of other really good skill players to help fill the gaps though like Hubbard, Robby Anderson and D.J. Moore.

Not many are expecting the Panthers to emerge from Dallas with a win which makes this matchup all the more intriguing given their 3-0 start.
