Carolina Panthers cornerback Donte Jackson made a huge impact play for his team when he returned a failed New Orleans Saints two-point conversion for two points of his own.

The Saints had seemingly flipped the momentum of the game after Alvin Kamara rushed for a 16-yard touchdown with 12:18 left in the fourth quarter, which gave New Orleans a 12-7 lead.

Naturally, Sean Payton and company chose to try to add two more points rather than kick the extra point, and that led to Drew Brees trying to pass for the extra score.

However, Jackson had other ideas, as he picked off the throw and returned it 99 yards to put a couple of points on the board for the Panthers.

The pick-two is a rare thing in football, but Jackson's quick instincts and speed down the field made it possible.

This was undoubtedly a huge moment for Carolina, as Reed's interception allowed Ron Rivera's squad to regain some momentum after the game-changing touchdown run from Kamara.

With the Panthers riding a five-game losing streak entering the game, there's no doubt that they can use all the help they can get right now in order to finally get back in the win column.

Carolina just hasn't been able to get over the hump after such a great start to the season, and this team desperately needs to earn the win over the Saints to stay in the playoff hunt.

After this matchup, the Panthers will play the Atlanta Falcons before a rematch with the Saints in Week 17.
