There wasn't a lot to see when the Carolina Panthers were blown away by the New Orleans Saints in their final game of the season, 42-10. However, fans — and LaDainian Tomlinson — had a reason to watch Christian McCaffrey.

The exciting running back was on pace to have the most impressive single-season points haul in NFL Fantasy history, almost beating LaDainian Tomlinson's incredible 4881.1 PPR. Unfortunately for Christian McCaffrey, he was a couple of points shy from completing the record, and LT remains the Fantasy King.

However, the former Los Angeles Charger couldn't just go on his way and not talk about the incredible individual season McCaffrey's had. He recorded a video that congratulated Christian McCaffrey for a fantastic season and challenged him to get the throne next year.

NFL Fantasy posted the video, and it's a pretty nice one.

He had a nice message for Christian McCaffrey, pointing out that there was this one play that cost him the throne.

“I understand you came really close, man. Great job at coming close. I watched the entire season, and I got to think back to that game against Green Bay where you didn't score on the goal line, bro. I think that's what did it. So, good luck next time. I'll continue to sit on the King's chair until you get the record.”

It's been a fantastic third season for Christian McCaffrey. He finished the season with 1,387 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns. He's also made his mark as becoming the third player in NFL history to have 1000 rushing and 1000 receiving yards as he had 72 receiving yards to put him over the line.

He's going to be one of the focal points of the Panthers offense moving forward, and fans are eager to see him play again next season.
