Patrick Mahomes is a great player. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback has been great for the squad, leading them to a championship in his third season. In his second season, he won the MVP, while in the third one, he won the Super Bowl MVP. He has been setting records since he started his NFL journey, and he has had family support on that path. His brother, Jackson Mahomes, has been with Patrick every step of the way. Unfortunately for the duo, Jackson has not been shy of controversy and his life is also fairly interesting to look at. Without further ado, here is Patrick Mahomes' brother Jackson Mahomes.

As said in the beginning, Jackson Mahomes is no stranger to controversy. While his brother keeps picking up accolades and already has a championship and an MVP award, Jackson has been active on social media. He usually puts up content centered around traveling the US with the Chiefs, supporting Patrick. While, usually, that is completely okay, he has had issues in the past.

For instance, in October of 2021, Jackson Mahomes was on the FedEx Field, home of the Washington Football Team. He was filming a Tik Tok of him dancing, but the problem was that he was standing and filming in a spot dedicated to Sean Taylor. Taylor was killed in 2007, as he was defending his fiancee and 18-month daughter from home invaders. Washington Football Team retired his jersey and gave him one memorial logo on the FedEx Field, and that is where Jackson Mahomes filmed the controversial Tik Tok.

After the incident and widespread condemnation, Jackson put up a Tweet, apologizing to everyone and expressing that he was not aware of what that part of the stadium meant.

While some were very angry at Mahomes, Washington Football Team reporter Chad Ryan was shifting at least a part of the blame to the people around FedEx Field. He put up a Tweet stating that he was surprised someone was actually allowed to come close to the memorial logo. Regardless, the apology was accepted and not much was further made out of the whole situation. Unfortunately for Jackson Mahomes, it was just the start of his controversies.

In September of 2021, as the Baltimore Ravens beat the Cheifs 36-35, many fans were seen mocking Mahomes and telling him to leave. Without much hesitation, Jackson proceeded to spill water on the fans underneath his balcony, earning condemnation from many around the NFL. He did earn the support of Kansas City Mayon, who tweeted his support to the younger Mahomes brother.

Another one of his incidents came about in December of the same year when Mahomes got into a war with a bar in Kansas City. When he tweeted a scathing review of the bar, he got a response that did not hold back. The bar's team had this to say, as the Sun reports:

We are sorry you didn’t reach out to us first before taking to social media. But then again, that is an expectation we would have from a mature and rational person. Not someone who pours water on fans and dances on the memorials of tragically lost people for TikTok clout.

Thankfully for both sides, the Sun reports that the bar actually apologized the next day. Still, many agreed with what the bar's social team had to say about Mahomes.

Unfortunately, the last incident concerning Jackson Mahomes was very toxic. As his brother's Chiefs were visiting the Denver Broncos, Jackson Mahomes was doing some filming for his immensely popular Tik Tok. During that time, one fan of the Broncos started using homophobic slurs, as Out.com reports. The publication further reports that Jackson Mahomes has been a victim of these kinds of slurs before, especially on his social media accounts. This comes despite the clarification Jackson has had to do multiple times in regards to his sexual orientation.

Generally speaking, the sibling duo has had a great relationship. Jackson Mahomes has access to the field, which has not always gone well for him, and he follows the Chiefs around without missing many games. Although Patrick Mahomes has not publicly addressed his brother or any of his controversies in the past, it is not hard to assume that he usually stands by him and helps him get even bigger on social media apps, such as Tik Tok. Not much is known about his life outside of Chief's games and his videos. but his relationship with his brother clearly does not suffer.
