New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick recently made headlines after Tom Brady's trainer, Alex Guerrero, fired a blatant shot at Belichick regarding how he handled Brady during their time together with the Pats. The long-time New England shot-caller has now responded to Gurerero's comments, and he's pretty much thrown some ice-cold water on the entire narrative.

Guerrero earlier made a claim that Belichick treated Brady “like that 20-year-old kid that he drafted.” The Tampa Bay Buccaneers superstar himself tried to downplay the allegations, stating that he had nothing but a “great time” during his spell in New England.

For his part, Belichick is simply refusing to engage and has decided to pretty much ignore Guerrero's comments (h/t Mark Daniels of the Providence Journal):

Belichick isn't giving Guerrero the time of day as he completely sidetracked the question to divert the conversation to the Patriots' upcoming Week 3 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Needless to say, it doesn't sound like Bill Belichick thinks too highly of Alex Guerrero.

Be that as it may, the fact still remains that Tom Brady decided to leave the Pats after 20 years with the franchise. The GOAT has his reasons, but one can't help but wonder just how much Bill Belichick factored in on Brady's decision to part ways with New England.
