New England Patriots linebacker Jamie Collins is once again a member of the heralded AFC East franchise. Now reunited with fellow Patriots linebackers Kyle Van Noy and Dont’a Hightower, Collins recently paid tribute to the ‘three musketeers' on Instagram.

Not only that, but Collins may have coined a new phrase that can definitely catch on in New England going forward — #LionBackers.

Now officially back in New England, Collins originally began his career as a member of the Patriots before then being traded to the Cleveland Browns during the 2016 campaign. However, the Patriots have since brought him back to New England after the Browns elected to cut him last year.

As a result of his return to New England, even though he has yet to formally take the field in a regulation game this time around, Collins has already received some high praise from those who matter.

“From him, man, that’s music to my ears, man. It’s an honor to get that type of response from him, and I really do appreciate it. That just makes me feel better and makes me want to come to work even more,” Collins recently told The Boston Herald of receiving praise from Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.

Despite the Browns being on the upswing, the Patriots remain the best team in the league. New England has notably won three of the last five and two of the last three Super Bowls with the addition of Collins surely helping the team's chances once again in 2019.
