It might be hard to draw any positives out of the nasty brawl between the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night, but count on the New England Patriots to use it as a learning experience.

On Friday, Tom Brady was asked about whether or not the fight was a discussion in the Patriots' locker room, and he says that it was mentioned, noting that head coach Bill Belichick used it as an example of what not to do on the field, via Phil Perry of NBC Sports Boston.

That's good advice for us all.

Of course, sometimes, players have difficulty controlling their emotions, because they are human beings, after all. However, it's the more disciplined teams (like the Patriots) that avoid those types of issues and don't get sucked into any unnecessary drama.

It's hard to imagine a Belichick-coached club ever engaging in that type of behavior, so Brady and Co. are surely in good hands with their six-time Super Bowl-winning coach.

New England was handed its first loss of the season at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens in Week 10 and is now 8-1. The Pats had a bye last week, but they will take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon.

The Patriots certainly have a tough schedule over the next several weeks.

After battling the Eagles, they will then have matchups with the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs, all of whom could potentially be playoff teams.

Knowing the Pats, they won't bat an eye.
