The New Orleans Pelicans will be without E'Twaun Moore and Nikola Mirotic when they take on the Oklahoma City Thunder Wednesday night.
Nikola Mirotic has been ruled out earlier due to the right ankle injury he sustained during Monday's game against the Boston Celtics. The 27-year-old forward played in just seven minutes and did not return.
The Pelicans, however, received another blow with the news that E'Twaun Moore will also not be available against the Thunder. Moore didn't play against the Celtics because of a lower leg injury, and the issue continues to bother him as New Orleans sidelined him again.
Pelicans guard E'Twaun Moore will miss tonight's game against Oklahoma City with lower leg injury, league source tells ESPN. Pelicans are already without forward Niko Mirotic and guard Elfrid Payton.

New Orleans is already without guard Elfrid Payton (finger fracture) who has played in just six games this season. That means the Pelicans will be missing three key players against the West-leading Oklahoma team.
Mirotic is averaging 17.4 points and 9.2 rebounds per game for the Pelicans, all while shooting 45.2 percent from the field and 34.8 percent from the 3-point line.
Meanwhile, Moore is putting up 14.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists for the team. He is also shooting well, averaging 50.8 percent overall and 42.4 percent from beyond the arc. Moore has started 24 times out of the 27 games he played in for the Pelicans.
