JJ Redick got tossed in the fourth quarter of Sunday's bout between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Boston Celtics following a bizarre moment with a game official. After the match, the NBA released the pool report from the contentious incident, to which Redick quickly reacted to on Twitter.

It's not exactly the type of reaction you'd expect from a man who just got ejected, though:

Redick had a single-word response to the official report, and it had nothing to do with the incident. Instead, he decided to correct the report for misspelling his name. This should serve as a future reminder for everyone (yours truly included) about how to spell JJ's name correctly. There's just one D in there, guys.

In all seriousness, though, the report is pretty black and white. Redick was whistled for his first technical foul for profanity directed at the referee. That's pretty straightforward, and absolutely the correct call to make. The second one, however, is where the controversy lies. If you saw the video, Redick spun the ball towards the direction of the referee, and there wasn't must force on it. It did hit the referee's leg, though, which was enough for him to take offense.

Be that as it may, the Pelicans vet seems okay with letting this incident go. It's not as if JJ Redick can take back what happened (the league is unlikely to rescind the technical foul) so he'll just need to dig into his pocket to pay the fine.
