New Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday still isn't sure when he'll be able to return from the elbow injury he has been dealing with, according to a report from ESPN's Andrew Lopez.

Holiday has already been ruled out for Wednesday night's game against the Bulls due to his ailment, and he's still dealing with swelling in his elbow. Whether or not he'll be available for the Pelicans' upcoming back-to-back set (Friday-Saturday) is not clear. New Orleans will likely take a cautious approach to his recovery:

The fact that Holiday will be sidelined is a tough blow for the Pelicans, who are currently holding a disappointing 12-25 overall record. He has played in 34 games this season, racking up averages of 19.6 points on 43.8 percent shooting from the field (34.2 percent from beyond the arc), 6.5 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 35.6 minutes per outing.

With Holiday ruled out for a bit longer, Josh Hart will likely continue to start. Lonzo Ball will see an uptick in his usage rate as well.

Wednesday night's matchup between the Pelicans and Bulls is scheduled to tip inside the Smoothie King Center at 8:00 p.m. ET. New Orleans has won five of its last seven, while Chicago has dropped four straight.
