New Orleans Pelicans small forward Brandon Ingram got off to a hot start against the Utah Jazz in the NBA's first restart game and Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant took notice.

Is Durant throwing shade toward Andre Iguodala and WNBA star Aerial Powers? It's possible but hard to prove at this point.

Since Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson is playing in short bursts against the Jazz, Ingram is the clear No. 1 option for New Orleans and he's taking advantage of it early on.

Before the 2019-20 season was suspended in March, Ingram was averaging 24.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game for the Pelicans. The former Los Angeles Lakers wing was also shooting 46.6 percent from the field, 38.7 percent from beyond the arc and 85.8 percent from the free-throw line.
