We've seen those pictures of New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson grabbing basketballs so hard he seems to dent them, and literally generating so much force he busts out of his shoes. But on Friday, we were graced with another Williamson feat. The 285-pound phenom swung a golf club so hard it broke on contact:

The Pelicans went on a team golfing trip, and Jaxson Hayes, Josh Hart, and Alvin Gentry were all spotted with Zion on the course. However, none of them could do what the Duke product did to his club. Unfortunately, we don't have video of the rest of Zion's game, but his first swing looked pretty decent before the club shattered on him.

The Pelicans' young core seems to be bonding fast, and the city of New Orleans has taken well to its newfound star. Hayes, Hart, and Lonzo Ball were all on hand for the New Orleans Saints' first regular-season game on Sunday, a nail-biting win over the Houston Texans.

It's a good sign for Pelicans fans that the youngsters are jelling. If they get along on the court as well as they do off it, New Orleans could really surprise some people this season.

NBA audiences will be keeping a close eye on Zion Williamson as the season progresses, and we're sure to see some more ridiculous feats out of the rook.
