Everyone loves a good throwback. Especially when it's for a good reason.

The Philadelphia 76ers will honor one of the greatest teams ever, the 1966-67 Sixers, by wearing a special throwback jersey this coming season.

The throwbacks will be saved for a handful of Saturday games.

The court will also have a new look as they honor this great time during “Salute Saturdays” and season-ticket holders will be receiving special tickets for the select games.

Honoring winning is something that has been few and far between of late with this franchise that has become the poster boy for tanking in this league.

After winning the lottery and selecting Ben Simmons with the No. 1 pick in this past draft, many believe more winning is on the way for the franchise.

There is certainly a lot of young talent on the roster and a trade in the near future feels inevitable. Maybe if Philly can pull off the right move and Simmons quickly becomes a transcendent player, the franchise will start building a winning tradition again.
