Lionel Messi's former Barcelona teammate Thierry Henry is certain Paris Saint-Germain is Kylian Mbappe's team.

Fans have been wondering what is going on with Lionel Messi at PSG as the Argentine has not scored a single goal yet for his new team at Ligue 1.

While it is quite obvious that Messi is joined by a wide array of goalscorers at PSG such as Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Achraf Hakimi, Barcelona and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has a different take on the matter.

According to Henry, PSG's offense revolves only around Mbappe and in the process, the club is not getting the best our of Messi, on the other hand.

“I don't think he [Messi] can make the difference on the right, but then I don't have the exact details from the tactical standpoint,” Henry assessed via Marca. “Obviously when you stay high up and you get out of the way, you won't have an impact. Then you have fewer balls going towards him.”

“Messi doesn't speak a lot, he speaks with the ball,” he added. “For now, it's Kylian's team. Kylian is the one who's making it shine most of all. The ball goes more towards him.”

Mbappe, meanwhile, doesn't seem to have a problem sharing the pitch with a fellow explosive goalscorer like Messi. In fact, he even reckoned that it is “very easy” to play alongside the six-time Ballon d'Or winner.

“It's very easy to play with Messi, really,” Mbappe said via Marca. “He really understands football, always knows what to do.

“If he has to dribble past everyone and score a goal, he'll do it. If he has to play with one touch, he'll do it. He's one of the best, if not the best.”
