After numerous reports linking Lionel Messi to PSG, it seemed like a foregone conclusion that he would be joining the French giants. On Tuesday, he officially flew to Paris and sealed the deal, penning a two-year contract with the club.
In the process, Messi reunites with former Barca teammate Neymar, with who he remains close friends. Well, it appears the Brazilian announced the signing of Messi on Instagram before he actually put pen to paper.

Messi joins a PSG attack with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe that will surely be one of the most deadly in world football. Anything less than a Champions League triumph would be considered a failure to the PSG supporters after a historic transfer window.
The two former teammates spent four seasons together at the Camp Nou, winning three La Liga titles, three Copa del Reys, and a Champions League trophy. Luis Suarez completed their trio, but they all broke up when Neymar jetted for Paris in 2017.
It was a sad ending to 17 years with the first team at Barcelona for Messi, who had an emotional breakdown at his exit press conference. Unfortunately, the club was in serious financial turmoil and couldn't afford his hefty wages, despite the Argentinian willing to take less money. PSG came calling right away and were more than capable of giving the 34-year-old as much money as he desires.
