As Kylian Mbappe heads into the final six months of his current deal with PSG, it's widely expected he will sign with Real Madrid in the summer. That being said, the Parisiens are starting to look at potential replacements for the Frenchman, with a former Lionel Messi Barcelona teammate creeping onto their radar.

According to French outlet Le 10 Sport, PSG is eyeing a move for Ousmane Dembele, who has hit a standstill in contract negotiations with Barca. His spell with the Catalan outfit has been ravaged by injuries, but he's finally healthy and in Xavi's plans.

However, Dembele's representatives are demanding a substantial increase in his wages after Barca recently secured the signature of former Man City winger Ferran Torres earlier this week. For PSG, Dembele could be a viable option. Although he doesn't score goals at the rate of Mbappe, a return to his homeland and a change of scenery may be beneficial.

The former Dortmund man would also be able to join the club on a free transfer as he will be allowed to sign with whoever he'd like in the summer when his deal expires, just like Mbappe. PSG is still doing everything imaginable to try and convince Mbappe to stay put, but it does seem likely that he will complete a dream move to the Spanish capital in the coming months. It will be near impossible to completely replace his production, but Dembele is certainly talented enough to play a key part if he can stay healthy.
