After a lengthy stint as a member of the heralded Dallas Cowboys, longtime NFL tight end Jason Witten is now officially a member of the Las Vegas Raiders. With such a move becoming officially official this week, the new-look Raiders have now released the first look at Witten in the famed silver and black.

Coming as absolutely no surprise, Witten will once again be sporting the No. 82, the same digits that he donned as a member of the Cowboys.

Sticking with the common theme of change, both Witten and the Raiders will be experiencing something brand new as a result of the upcoming 2020 campaign. With Witten never suiting up for another franchise — other than the aforementioned Cowboys before signing with the AFC West franchise earlier in the offseason — the Raiders are still in the process of formally making the move from Oakland to Las Vegas. The 2020 campaign will serve as the team's first in “Sin City” after originally agreeing to relocate away from Oakland a few years back.

As for Witten, the veteran tight end spent a total of 16 seasons in Dallas over the course of two stints with the Cowboys. Remaining with the NFC East franchise from 2003 through 2017, Witten then sat out for the 2018- campaign and instead served as an commentator for ESPN's Monday Night Football. He then returned to Dallas for one final go-round in 2019.

Previously the No. 1 option at tight end while with the Cowboys, Witten will now serve as the backup to breakout star Darren Waller.
