The Oakland Raiders cut ties with Antonio Brown earlier in the week only for him to sign with the New England Patriots. Following Oakland's victory over the Denver Broncos on Monday night, Jon Gruden wishes the best for Brown and the Patriots.

“You know, we gave it a shot. Now New England gets their turn. Good luck to them. I can’t deal with it anymore.”

Throughout the offseason, Brown hasn't struggled to insert his name into the headlines for all of the wrong reasons. The Raiders traded for the All-Pro receiver in March but they could only manage to put up with his antics for less than six months.

It all began with Brown missing practices in training camp due to frostbitten feet and issues with his helmet. The talented wideout was given a fine by the front office for being absent from training camp. Then, everything began to spiral further downhill after that.

Brown took the fine from the team personally and he approached GM Mike Mayock to discuss his issues. The conversation became heated with Brown threatening to punch Mayock in the face.

As a result, the Raiders sent another fine to the disgruntled receiver that nullified the nearly $30 million in guarantees that he signed for in March. With his guaranteed money being taken away from him, Brown asked for his release from the team.

Just hours after being released, the Patriots swooped in and signed the veteran receiver. Bill Belichick is known for taking risks on players with character concerns but he will have his hands full with Brown this season.
