As the Los Angeles Rams get set to face the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday in Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, they also have a slight bit of their attention on the NFL‘s regular-season awards, which have been being released on Thursday night. Aaron Donald missed out on his fourth NFL Defensive MVP award, something Aaron Rodgers just accomplished with his fourth NFL Most Valuable Player MVP award (second straight). Not all of the Rams’ night was a bust, though, as left tackle Andrew Whitworth won the “Walter Payton Man of the Year Award” for his work in the community.

Also, Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp was able to bring home the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year Award. When the Kupp announcement was made, one of the quickest people to respond on Twitter was Rams superstar cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

Ramsey has had a first-hand look at the artistry of Kupp for the past two and a half years. He knows what an elite receiver looks like probably more than any other person in the league, so trust Ramsey’s word on this one. Also, he isn’t one to lavish praise on teammates as a means of motivation. This is truly coming from the heart and shows what kind of teammate Ramsey truly is. He may be demanding, have high standards, and like to talk his trash in games and practices, but he appreciates players that show up to work every day, continue to put everything they have out there on the field, and of course…make plays!
