Since the Chargers decided to uproot themselves from San Diego for Los Angeles, there has been a strong level of disdain toward the franchise from the city.

The Chargers' former radio station in San Diego, The Mighty 1090, has agreed to terms to air Los Angeles Rams' games in the 2018 season. In response to that, Rams general manager Les Snead took a chance to take a slight jab at their future Inglewood co-tenants.

The Mighty 1090 in San Diego has announced that they have partnered with the Rams to broadcast all of their preseason, regular season, and playoff games. This could be viewed as a vengeful move by the radio to air the games of the other team in Los Angeles to get back at their former team.

The Chargers had called San Diego home for nearly 50 years playing at SDCCU Stadium where they had their games broadcasted on the local airwaves. What makes this move more intriguing is that there are likely still many Chargers fans in San Diego that will now have the opportunity to take in a Rams' game on their broadcast instead.

The Rams could be in store for a breakout year in 2018 after earning their playoff appearance and NFC West division title in well over a decade. The front office has increased the level of buzz around the organization after bringing aboard several highly talented players to help further strengthen the roster next season. This has led to many to predict that they could be legitimate Super Bowl contenders this upcoming campaign.
