The Los Angeles Rams were on a high after securing the services of Odell Beckham Jr. in free agency. However, right after bringing in Beckham, the Rams lost stud receiver Robert Woods to a torn ACL.

Woods put out an inspirational statement Sunday on social media:

Losing Woods for the rest of the season is a tough blow for Los Angeles. While Cooper Kupp has been the unquestioned No. 1 receiver for the Rams, Woods was terrific as the No. 2 guy. He wound up with 45 catches for 556 yards and four touchdowns in nine games.

With Woods out of the lineup, Beckham is going to have to step up in his place, as will Van Jefferson. Things didn't go too well for Beckham with the Cleveland Browns, so Los Angeles is hoping things go much better with Matthew Stafford throwing him the ball.

The Rams are 7-2 on the season. They're a game behind the first-place Arizona Cardinals and have a Monday Night Football showdown against the San Francisco 49ers coming up. Beckham is expected to play in that game, though how much he plays remains to be seen.
