The Los Angeles Rams have continued stocking up on big-name players. Their most recent splash was signing wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., which adds even more firepower to their already elite offense.

Beckham is the second former Pro Bowler to arrive in Los Angeles, joining edge rusher Von Miller. The former Denver Bronco was acquired at the trade deadline and was on FaceTime with Beckham as news broke of him signing with the Rams.

Wide receiver Robert Woods detailed the efforts that the team made to recruit Beckham to Los Angeles. He explained that multiple players, namely cornerback Jalen Ramsey, made the push to sign him, according to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic.

Adding Beckham to a wide receiver group that already has Woods and receiving yards leader Cooper Kupp will punish opposing secondaries with the help of Matthew Stafford. The 33-year-old quarterback is making the most of his first legitimate chance to contend for a title as he leads the NFL in passing yards and passer rating. The Rams also have the 5th-highest-scoring offense in the league.

Beckham's failed stint with the Cleveland Browns was due to an offense that didn't embrace his talents. The Rams recruiting pitch left him feeling appreciated, which bodes well for them and Beckham working out. Beckham should be able to fit right in as a deep threat can take advantage of the attention defenses are giving Kupp while taking some pressure off of him, too.

The 7-2 Rams were already Super Bowl contenders prior to the addition of OBJ. Adding a highly talented wideout just lets the rich get richer. Los Angles' next game is against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football.
