Veteran guard Danny Green has just won his second NBA championship by helping the Toronto Raptors take out the Golden State Warriors in the 2019 NBA Finals. Now, he is set to be a free agent and will look to weigh in on his options this summer.

The same thing can be said about Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard, who has been rumored to be a one-and-done in Toronto. Green said that he wants to stay with the Raptors, but Leonard's decision come July will definitely have some sort of impact on him and the rest of the franchise.

Green and Leonard have played together since 2011. They won their first championship with the San Antonio Spurs back in 2014, and just last year, they were traded to the Raptors. Now that they are both free agents, it is possible for them to part ways for the first time in their careers.

But Green can just decide to join Leonard wherever he goes, that is if that team would want him. Kawhi has been rumored to have interest in joining the Los Angeles Clippers, but there are also reports about him potentially signing a short-term deal with the Raptors.

On the other hand, Green is expected to receive interest from a lot of teams as well. As a reliable 3-point shooter, he's going to be a hot commodity this summer. Teams like the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets and the Clippers have tons of money to spend, so it wouldn't be surprising if he ends up with another contender next season.

Of course, he could stay with the Raptors and help them repeat.
