The Toronto Raptors defeated the Philadelphia 76ers by a score of 92-90 in Game 7 of their second-round Eastern Conference playoff series on Sunday night to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2016.

Afterward, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took to Twitter to congratulate the Raptors for their success.

The Raptors won courtesy of a crazy buzzer-beater by Kawhi Leonard, who launched a jumper from the corner and saw the ball bounce around the rim four times before finally falling.

Leonard ended up scoring 41 points in the victory, adding eight rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Over the course of the series overall, the 27-year-old averaged 34.7 points, 9.9 rebounds, four assists and 1.3 steals over 39.7 minutes per game while shooting 53 percent from the floor, 33.3 percent from three-point range and 85.7 percent from the free-throw line.

While this is just the second Eastern Conference Finals appearance in Toronto's franchise history, it's hardly Leonard's first rodeo.

Kawhi made the conference finals four times as a member of the San Antonio Spurs, including a pair of trips to the NBA Finals in 2013 and 2014. The latter year resulted in a championship, and Leonard was named Finals MVP.

The Raptors, who won 58 games and finished in second place in the Eastern Conference during the regular season, will now move on to take on the Milwaukee Bucks, the league's only 60-win team, for a berth in the NBA Finals.

Toronto, which became an NBA franchise back in 1995, is looking to make the finals for the first time in the history of the franchise.
