Last week, the Toronto Raptors traded for disgruntled San Antonio Spurs star Kawhi Leonard despite the health concerns as well as reports that he had eyes on his Los Angeles.

According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN, the trade between the Spurs and Raptors is now official as Leonard has officially passed his physical.

If he didn't pass his physical, the Raptors could have overturned the trade, which would have sent DeMar DeRozan and Jakob Poeltl back to Toronto as well as Leonard and Danny Green back to San Antonio. However, that wasn't the case, and both sides have moved on with what they're hoping will be a franchise-changing move.

In the last full season he played, Leonard averaged 25.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.8 steals per game on 48.5 percent shooting from the field and 38 percent from beyond the arc. While there's no questioning the talent in Leonard, the biggest question marks over the last year have been about his health and ability to reach the talent level that made him an NBA Finals MVP and a two-time Defensive Player of the Year.
