Specifically, Lowry has drawn 16 charges.
That's just charges. I'm talking all offensive fouls.

Lowry has built a reputation for his fearlessness and willingness to sacrifice his body for a charge. Josh Lewenberg of TSN asked Lowry what is his mindset is when drawing an offensive foul. For Lowry, he knows that it'll hurt up to a certain extent. But he knows that it'll all be worth it at the end of the game when they win.

‘this is really going to hurt' run through his mind? “No, it doesn't. You pay for it later. At the moment, as long as you win the game, it's all worth it.”
In the early minutes of Game 2 against the Golden State Warriors, the 33-year-old took his 16th charge of the postseason:

The Raptors have a defensive rating of 102.9. This is the best rating among the two remaining teams in the playoffs and second overall — tied with the Boston Celtics, and right behind the Milwaukee Bucks.
Without a doubt, Lowry's efforts have contributed greatly to the Raptors' success. It's their defense which has brought them to the NBA Finals. If the saying is true that defense wins championships, then Lowry and crew may have a fighting chance against the powerhouse Warriors squad.
