When the Toronto Raptors didn't deal Kyle Lowry at the NBA Trade Deadline, the next question on everyone's mind was obvious: what will he do come his free agency?

While we don't yet know the answer to exactly what will happen come the offseason, the longtime Raptors star did last us know his biggest factors he'll weight come decision making time.

“My family will be a major factor in this,” Raptors veteran Kyle Lowry said. “Money talks and years talk.”

Obviously, none of this is shocking. This is, generally speaking, the three largest factors for any NBA players' free agency decision. Heck, outside of the years part, only because most real life jobs don't have those sort of contracts, this applies to any person's process when deciding what to do in terms of employment.

Selfishly, it would be nice to see Kyle Lowry finish his career in Toronto. In more than just subtle ways, he embodies everything that's been fun about the Raptors over the years.

A lot will depend on what direction the Raptors plan on going next season and beyond. Moreover, if Kyle Lowry wants to go title chasing with legitimate top-tier contenders if that doesn't appear to be the plan for his current squad.
