The Toronto Raptors will be ready for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, regardless whether Kevin Durant and DeMarcus Cousins play or not.

Ahead of their meeting with the reigning NBA Champions, Raptors guard Kyle Lowry emphasized that they are not preparing against the Dubs with the idea that KD or Coursins will play or not. He pointed out that they are gearing up for the team the Warriors have at their disposal and emphasized that they will make the necessary adjustments when needed.

Durant has already been ruled out of Game 1 due to the right calf strain he sustained in the second round against the Houston Rockets. Meanwhile, DeMarcus Cousins is listed as questionable with a torn quad. While he could play given his status, the former All-Star big man isn't expected to provide meaningful minutes for the Warriors given the time he spent on the sidelines.

The Raptors will look to take advantage of the absence of the two Warriors key players, but Lowry and Co. surely knows their job won't still be easy. After all, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson were more than enough for the Dubs in their sweep of the Portland Trail Blazers in the Western Conference Finals.

It's also worth noting that the Dubs are well rested with their nine-day break before the NBA Finals. At least, the Raptors will enjoy home-court advantage for their final series.
