Toronto just came off a 126-110 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, as superstar forward Kawhi Leonard led the way with 37 points, matching his season-best. The Raptors missed three of their five starters in this one, and still managed to carve out a 16-point beat down of the lowly Cavaliers. The win also comes on the heels of their huge come-from-behind victory against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday, despite being short-handed.
Starting point guard Kyle Lowry missed his fourth straight contest due to a sore thigh, while Serge Ibaka sat out for the second straight game with a sore knee. Danny Green also dealt with a knee issue, and missed his first game of the season. The Raptors have also been missing big man Jonas Valanciunas due to a dislocated thumb that he sustained last week.
Nonetheless, despite missing some big names, the Raptors banked on their depth to continue their winning ways. However, they will have a tall task at hand as they take on the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday. The Raptors are hoping to get some reinforcements back as reports indicate that Kyle Lowry and Danny Green may return from their respective injuries. However, Kawhi Leonard will reportedly take the day off, as he continues to sit out one of the two games on back-to-backs.
