The Toronto Raptors enjoyed a solid win over the Philadelphia 76ers. However, they are holding their breath when it comes to the current condition of Patrick McCaw after walking away with a facial fracture.

He had to be taken off the game due to a facial contusion. As part of the follow-up checks, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reported that the guard will be seeing a specialist to understand the severity of the injury he sustained.

McCoy will be hoping that the injury will only be a minor roadblock for his return to the Raptors. He's already missed a significant chunk of the season due to various injuries. Him sitting this one out will be a huge pain for him to do.

What makes this injury frustrating for him and the Raptors is the fact that he's actually contributing. Through 22 games, he is averaging 5.7 points, 2.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.2 steals a game. All of those are career highs for the fourth-year veteran out of UNLV.

If his facial injury isn't severe, then he doesn't have to miss a game at all. All he needs to do is wear a protective mask and be extra careful when it comes to his face. Given the amount of time that he's missed, he'll definitely take the opportunity to play.

He wasn't much of a factor during his team's win over the Sixers as he only had 17 seconds of game time. However, his team made sure that he can focus on getting better by winning the game. Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet led the Raptors to a good win as superb team basketball managed to outshine Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris. With their next game not happening until Saturday, McCaw has enough time to know if he'll be able to play or not.
