Kyle Lowry is in a tough position with the Toronto Raptors. On one hand, he's under contract for two more seasons so he has to be fully invested in the team. But on the other hand, he's still frustrated with the way DeMar DeRozan was treated by the organization.

Videos captured footage of Lowry performing his usual pregame ritual in the tunnel, but with one major absence. Lowry did his normal pregame handshake before running onto the floor, but this time around, DeRozan wasn't on the other hand of the high five. Clearly, there's still some feelings bubbling over.

Although Lowry still could be harboring some feelings of animosity towards the organization, the Raptors believe they made the right move by trading DeRozan for Kawhi Leonard.

The former San Antonio Spur is an improved version of DeRozan and Leonard brings playoff experience that is desperately needed in Toronto. The Raptors have always put together successful regular seasons, but the playoffs have always been the team's kryptonite.

It wasn't an easy decision for the Raptors to make, but they needed to do something. The trade may have dented the team's credibility with some of its players — most notably Lowry — but if Leonard turns out to be a smashing success, all will be forgiven.

The Raptors are starting off the season on the right foot following a convincing 116-104 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday. Leonard looked rusty, but he still turned in 24 points and 12 boards. Lowry found his groove despite losing his longtime running mate. The veteran point guard dished out eight assists while scoring 27 points on 10-for-12 shooting.
