The future of veteran big man Serge Ibaka with the Toronto Raptors seems bleak at this point. So much so, that the incoming free agent just erased all Raptors-related information from his social media bio.

Here's a screenshot of Ibaka's new profile:

In this day and age, I guess one of the first ways players announce their impending departure from their current team is by disassociating themselves from the squad on social media.

To be clear, though, nothing is official just yet. Ibaka's current deal with Toronto will expire in the offseason, making him an unrestricted free agent. This means that he can sign with any team he so chooses without any restrictions. This includes the possibility of re-signing with the Raptors. Although erasing all Toronto-related info on his social pages doesn't exactly bode well for the same.

On the tweet we posted above, the screenshot of Ibaka's bio is placed right beside a photoshopped image of himself alongside newly-axed Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey. It is worth noting that the tweet was shared by a Rockets fan, and while the 7-foot big man has been linked with Houston, this remains to be nothing more than wishful thinking at this point.

Ibaka will have no shortage of suitors in free agency, and he could see himself putting pen to paper on a hefty deal soon. This offseason's free agent market lacks a sufficient number of big names, which makes Ibaka a prime target for many teams. Then again, the certainty brought about by the pandemic is also expected to have an adverse effect on any and all new dealings, so this is also something that Ibaka will need to take into consideration.
