Toronto Raptors big man Serge Ibaka will be hosting a talent show amid the coronavirus quarantine. The Raptors forward will donate $20,000 to the winner's city or region to help fight COVID-19.
Those who wish to participate must be at least 18 years old. They can submit to the casting call Wednesday:
While we are all social distancing and in quarantine, I'd like to bring positivity and reward talent and creativity. Starting with an open casting on April 8th on my IG @sergeibaka. If you are 18+ and want to participate, follow @ouenzeentertainment on Instagram first.

The NBA suspended the 2019-20 season after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19. As of now, no one knows if the 2019-20 season is going to start back up again.

Serge Ibaka and the Raptors want to get the chance to defend their NBA title. However, there isn't too much optimism within league circles that the NBA can resume play anytime soon.
Ibaka was averaging 16.0 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists for the Raptors prior to play getting suspended. He was also shooting 51.8 percent from the field, 39.8 percent from beyond the arc and 74.8 percent from the free-throw line.
The Raptors were in second place in the Eastern Conference standings. Only the Milwaukee Bucks had a better record than Toronto. To recall, the Raptors defeated the Bucks in the 2019 Eastern Conference Finals in six games.
What Ibaka and seemingly all NBA players are doing for their communities right now is great to see. Hopefully sports can return in the summer. In the meantime, more generous acts from athletes will suffice.
