The Toronto Raptors are currently in a neck-and-neck race with the Milwaukee Bucks for the top seed in the Eastern Conference, and their schedule for the final two months of the season could help them finish first in the standings.

According to NBA.com's John Schumann, the Raptors currently have the easiest schedule in the league heading into the final stretch of the season:

The Raptors have the league's easiest remaining schedule in regard to cumulative opponent winning percentage, with just seven of their final 23 games against teams that currently have winning records. They also have just two back-to-backs (fewest in the league) left on their schedule.

The Raptors are currently tied with the Bucks for most wins in the East at 43. However, they have two more losses than Milwaukee, and their final 23 games could prove to be the difference maker regarding who will finish in the top spot after the regular season.

Four of Toronto's next six games will be against playoff teams: the San Antonio Spurs, Boston Celtics, Portland Trail Blazers, and Houston Rockets. From there, their schedule gets a bit easier with games against the Detroit Pistons (twice), New York Knicks, New Orleans Pelicans, Orlando Magic, and Los Angeles Lakers.

The Raptors are already formidable with Kawhi Leonard leading the way. They have also added veterans Marc Gasol and Jeremy Lin this month, and their schedule for the remainder of the season could help them bring a strong wave of momentum heading into the playoffs.
