The NBA offseason often becomes more exciting than any other offseason in sports. That's expected to be the case this summer as well with plenty of big names potentially on the move. One of those, is longtime Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry.

Kyle Lowry is set to hit free agency and he will have no shortage of suitors who will want to bring him onboard. Shams Charania of The Athletic put this even more into the light with free agency lurking around the corner.

The 76ers, Lakers, Mavericks, Pelicans and Heat are expected to be top suitors for Raptors free agent guard Kyle Lowry, sources said.

All five of those options bring a certain level of intrigue given team circumstances and what they are trying to do.

The Sixers are coming off yet another deflating playoff exit and now questions remain as to what they will do regarding the future of Ben Simmons. Bringing in Kyle Lowry would provide plenty of stability at the guard spot for Philly but it would also shorten that championship window by giving up on Simmons to go for the older Lowry.

LeBron James and the Lakers sputtered out in the first round of the NBA playoffs. They lost to the eventual Western Conference champions in the Phoenix Suns but that won't matter to LA. They will be looking to add a third star next to James and Anthony Davis. Kyle Lowry could be the golden ticket and the right fit for what the Lakers want.

The Mavericks present an interesting option as Luka Doncic is so ball dominant at the point guard spot himself. New Orleans having interest isn't surprising given that they have all but made it clear Lonzo Ball won't be back. And the Heat- Kyle Lowry rumors have been news for over a year now.
