The Toronto Raptors are in Los Angeles to take on the L.A. Clippers on Tuesday night in their second visit of the season to Staples Center. Star forward Kawhi Leonard sat out against the Lakers due to injury management, as the team was on a back-to-back set.

Leonard also sat out against the Clippers, however, but this time due to a new injury, a bruised hip suffered towards the end of the loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. Surprisingly, however, Leonard was available to members of the media to speak before the game. Leonard was asked about a number of topics, including his current injury status, his comfort level in Toronto, and even about Christmas.

With over two weeks still left until Christmas in a game that the Raptors needed to win to get back on track after a loss, as well as a game against a team he's been linked to several times in regards to his future free agency, Leonard was asked about Christmas. Here's his response.

That went about as well as you could've expected it to go. It's worth questioning what on earth was going through that reporter's head, but it's too late now.

In his first and only season with the Raptors (so far), Leonard is averaging 26.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.9 assists, and 1.8 three-pointers per game on 48.8 percent shooting from the field and 38.1 percent from beyond the arc.
