Kawhi Leonard of the Toronto Raptors has long been ridiculed and scoffed at for his robotic, cyborg-esque way in which he goes about the business of playing basketball.

However, that mechanical approach and laser focus on what he is doing on the court on a nightly basis has led the Raptors to the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history — mostly due to the less-than-flashy, but no less effective, style in which Kawhi plays the game.

Sometimes Leonard is accused of being grumpy or standoffish, but all of that seems to stem from the fact that all he wants to do is play the game and not worry about anything other than that.

That simple fact seems to be why Leonard was caught freezing out his own teammate ahead of the critical Game 3 of the NBA Finals. Here’s the clip via Yahoo Sports Canada:

As you can see, Norman Powell extends a fist for Leonard to bump for an uncomfortable amount of time, before Leonard simply points ahead and refuses the bump from Powell.

Perhaps people might claim that as being a bad teammate, and adding the Curb Your Enthusiasm music while zooming in on Leonard pointing forward would make for an amusing edit. However, Leonard is certainly not concerned with anything other than winning and putting his team up two games to one in the NBA Finals.

Well, Powell should have probably known better after playing a whole season with Kawhi.
