Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard made his return to Toronto on Wednesday night, the first time that he has played a game in the building since having led the franchise to the NBA championship last season.

During the pre-game ceremonies, the folks at the Scotiabank Arena decided to retrace Leonard's steps from his Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semi-finals game-winning buzzer-beater during a dazzling display.

Leonard's game-winner to advance the Raptors in the 2019 postseason will likely be one of the defining basketball images of the decade. No matter any animosity felt by any section of Toronto fans, Leonard's heroics brought the franchise their first championship during his only season in Canada.

Leonard appears on line to spend the next half-decade of his career in Los Angeles, where he will have the chance to deliver historic moments such as what he did in Toronto.
