Eden Hazard has evidently fallen out of favor at Real Madrid under Carlo Ancelotti and it looks as a January move could be in the cards.

According to ESPN's James Olley, a number of Premier League clubs are eyeing the Belgian, with Chelsea and Newcastle the most notable ones who are interested in his services. Hazard, 30, has struggled at the Bernabeu since leaving Stamford Bridge in 2019 for a massive €100 million fee. The attacker has dealt with numerous injuries which have kept him out of the squad more often than not.

Ancelotti made it clear a couple of days ago that Real Madrid possesses better options in the final third than Hazard, which basically opened the door for an exit. However, he still has three years remaining on his deal in the Spanish capital and seems keen to fight for his place.

A reunion with Chelsea would undoubtedly be intriguing after an illustrious career at the club where he won two league titles and solidified himself as one of the best players on the globe at the time. As for Newcastle, they're looking to make their first big signing following the €305 million Saudi Arabian takeover earlier this month.

As Olley noted, the interest from both teams is unknown at this point, but it certainly feels like Hazard should leave Real Madrid and get a fresh start elsewhere. He's made a mere 52 appearances since joining Los Blancos and has only started four times this term.
