The Washington Redskins have gotten underway with their virtual offseason program and there have been positives to come out of it already. While there's uncertainty surrounding his future, Dwayne Haskins is impressing people in Washington with his grasp of the offense.

Earlier this offseason, the Redskins named Ron Rivera as their next head coach. With Rivera making his way to Washington, he decided to add some of his former coaches from the Carolina Panthers, including Scott Turner as the offensive coordinator.

Since Turner became the team's new offensive coordinator, Haskins will have to learn a new offense for next season. Despite teams being unable to use their facilities, the NFL has scheduled virtual offseason programs for each team. Within the virtual offseason program, coaches can speak to their players.

For Haskins, he's taking the time in the virtual offseason program to learn the offense extensively. So much so that the second-year quarterback is turning heads in Washington's organization.

Last offseason, the Redskins selected Haskins with the No. 15 pick of the 2019 NFL Draft. Even though he was a first-round selection, Haskins didn't get a chance to start until Week 9 versus the Buffalo Bills. After a slow start, Haskins finished the season strong with 564 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception in his last three starts.

With a new regime being put in place, led by Rivera, there was some speculation that Haskins wouldn't be the starter next season. While he hasn't shown much on the field yet, it's a positive sign to see Haskins improving his game off of the field.
