Another week, another historic rushing mark for Washington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson. He now finds himself once again in elite company with Hall of Fame running back Walter Payton.

Peterson was able to tie Payton in spectacular fashion for the fourth-most rushing touchdowns of all time with 110, via NFL Twitter:

Peterson continues to prove that age is just a number at this point in his career. Although it is a testament to the longevity he has been able to sustain, runs like this prove he is still more than capable of turning back the clock when he needs to.

Peterson has served as a stabilizing factor for this backfield amidst the injury-plagued start to the career of running back Derrius Guice. While Washington may not be playing for much around this time of year, it is clear they have no problem trying to play spoiler to the teams in their division.
