Back in 2013, the Cleveland Cavaliers selected Anthony Bennett with the first overall pick in the NBA draft. From there, it's been all downhill for the Canadian prospect.

He's only 23 years old, but Bennett is already labeled as a bust. After disappearing with the Toronto Raptors last season, many expected him to be out of the league for good.

However, after some promises performances for Canada in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament, the Brooklyn Nets started taking a closer look.

Now, they have a deal:

With guys like Victor Oladipo taken behind him, Bennett failed to establish his footing in the league during his first three years. The Cavs quickly bailed on him after a disappointing rookie season, trading Bennett to the Minnesota Timberwolves as a part of the Kevin Love deal.

He scored just over 5.2 points in 15.7 minutes per night, but the T-Wolves decided to move on last offseason. He ended up with the Raptors, but he only played in 19 games in a very limited role.

With Brooklyn, Bennett hopes to revitalize his career. If he can shed the ‘bust' label just a bit, his tenure with the Nets should be deemed as a success.
