The Sacramento Kings are reportedly willing to trade both of their first-round picks (No. 5 and No. 10 selections) in order to move up and obtain Kentucky freshman point guard De'Aaron Fox, according to ESPN Draft Insider Chad Ford, via Liberty Ballers.

Fox has been an intriguing prospect that has steadily remained with lottery potential, but has gotten plenty of interest from nearly every team drafting in the top 10 of the board.

The talent-starved Kings have been desperately looking for a point guard, and what better place to do it in than one of the most floor general-rich drafts in recent memory.

Duke's Jayson Tatum and French international Frank Nkitilina are pegged at No. 5 and No. 10 respectively, according to Ford, Sacramento would be willing to “combining picks Nos. 5 and 10 to move up in the draft to secure Fox.”

The consensus has brought Markelle Fultz and Lonzo Ball going first and second, respectively, making the third spot and down the equation to solve for.

The Philadelphia 76ers have kept Fox in their crosshairs, but could potentially make a run at Philly native free agent Kyle Lowry in order to make winning immediate and speed up “The Process.”

While the Phoenix Suns have also been impressed with Fox, the Kings would have to go through the Sixers first, in order to really “secure” his selection at the No. 3 spot.

Fox averaged 16.7 points, 4.6 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.5 steals as a freshman under coach John Calipari. An excellent athletic talent, the lefty point guard will have to work on his three-point and free-throw prowess, shooting a mere 24.6 and 73.6 percent respectively.

If Philly can somehow walk away with Lowry, along with picks 5 and 10 from the Kings, coupled with a healthy Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid — there might be another banner rising for Bryan Colangelo in the near future.
