The Sacramento Kings are trying to bring the hometown kid home. At 28 years old, Ryan Anderson isn’t really a kid, but more of an experienced NBA player with tremendous talent. The Kings are still trying to lure Dion Waiters to Sacramento, but adding another piece like Ryan Anderson gives them some potential positive effects to their team. Anderson's ability to stretch the floor will give their franchise player DeMarcus Cousins a lot more room to operate in the paint. With 30 million dollars, the Kings could have a chance to sign both these players and bring some more shooting to their team. This would fill two spots that the Kings have had trouble with in the past, the shooting guard and power forward positions.

Ryan Anderson was drafted 21st overall by the New Jersey Nets in 2008, but only played one season with the Nets, trading him to the Orlando Magic, where he played for 3 seasons. He ended up with the New Orleans Pelicans, playing as the key role of the sixth man recently with the growth of Anthony Davis. Anderson has averaged 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 assist per game this past season with the Pelicans.
