According to a report, Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota might need surgery to help fix issues he has been having. As of right now, he's currently battling a hamstring issue and ankle injuries. Yes, injuries, as in plural.

Veteran Tennessee reporter Paul Kuharsky — who is also very credible, it is worth noting — reports that Marcus Mariota is still struggling with the hamstring injury he suffered earlier in the season. More so, Mariota is also having problems with the ankle injury he suffered last season.

It is so bad that the gunslinger might need surgery. Before all you Titans fans scramble around in a panic, the signal-caller can wait until the offseason before going under the knife. That is, you know, if he opts to go that route. Rehab remains a possibility as well.

Despite losing last weekend, the Titans are still in a position to earn a wildcard spot in the playoffs. The National Football League franchise will obviously need Mariota on the field, playing well, to help make that happen.

Mariota hasn't exactly set the league on fire this season. Still, the other options behind him at the position are less than stellar.

Nevertheless, with at least four games left on the docket, Tennessee will be hoping Mariota can hold off his injuries until the season is over.
