With training camp rapidly approaching, fans are paying close attention to more than just their favorite teams. The time has now come for those involved in fantasy football to start making preparations for their drafts.

NFL Network's Rich Eisen recently sounded off on which players should be taken first. He even included a potential sleeper for the 2018 NFL season, via TMZ Sports:

“I would still take Le'Veon Bell No. 1. If he doesn't hold out, I'm taking him No. 1,” Eisen said. “No. 2, I'd take Antonio Brown. David Johnson is coming back, I love him. If I had to name an underrated fantasy player, the one that's totally going to be under the radar — this year's Alvin Kamara, I like Derrius Guice. I like him a hell of a lot. I don't know why I just feel it.”

Eisen stuck to the script with players like Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown. However, his prediction on Washington Redskins running back Derrius Guice was certainly an interesting one.

It may be a bit of a stretch to assume he will enjoy the same kind of success New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara did last season. Not only was Kamara arguably the best rookie in his class, but he was also one of the most electrifying running backs in the league. Needless to say, he left some pretty big shoes to fill, but it is certainly possible.

Guice was pegged as one of the most talented running backs in the 2018 NFL Draft. Unfortunately, his stock slipped due to concerns about his character. Although Washington has largely run their backfield by committee in recent years, it is not too far-fetched to assume Guice will be able to secure an early down role. This could pay huge dividends for fantasy owners looking for a potential sleeper in the late rounds.
