The Baltimore Ravens have already clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC North and will rest Lamar Jackson for Week 17. With Jackson heading to the bench, Robert Griffin III will draw the start at quarterback for the Ravens on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Griffin joined the Ravens in 2018 as a backup quarterback and hasn't started a game with the team. As a matter of fact, the former first-round pick hasn't started in an NFL game since 2016 with the Cleveland Browns.

Even though this game doesn't have any playoff implications for the Ravens, it will decide the fate of the Steelers. With that being said, here are a few bold predictions for Griffin versus the Steelers in Week 17.

Griffin will throw for 200 yards

Due to Jackson sitting out, Baltimore will likely have a slightly different game plan on offense. But with Griffin starting, the Ravens understand that he has somewhat of a similar skill set as Jackson.

Over the past few seasons, Griffin hasn't seen the field much as a backup quarterback. On the other hand, Pittsburgh's defense has defended the pass very well in 2019.

Furthermore, the Steelers haven't allowed a quarterback to eclipse 200 passing yards since Week 10 against the Los Angeles Rams. In his first start in the NFL since 2016, Griffin will throw for over 200 yards in Week 17.

Griffin will score three total touchdowns

Before Jackson, Griffin was taking the NFL by storm with his dual-threat ability with the Washington Redskins. Unfortunately, injuries caused Griffin's career in Washington to come to an abrupt halt.

Even at this point in his career, Griffin is still capable of creating plays with his legs. The Ravens will undoubtedly use his rushing ability against the Steelers' defense on Sunday.

In light of that, Griffin will score three total touchdowns for Baltimore in Week 17. The last time that Griffin combined for three touchdowns in a game came in Week 10 of the 2013 season.

Griffin will avoid turning the ball over

One of the most impressive aspects of the Ravens' impressive season is their ability to not turn the ball over. With Jackson as the starting signal-caller, Baltimore only has 13 turnovers (tied for third-fewest in the NFL).

At the same time, with the addition of Minkah Fitzpatrick, the Steelers have done a spectacular job taking the ball from their opponents. Thus far, Pittsburgh's defense has forced 36 takeaways (tied for most in the NFL).

The other team that has forced 36 takeaways so far this year is the New England Patriots. Provided that, Griffin will avoid turning the ball over on Sunday versus the Steelers.
