Houston Rockets rookie Jalen Green gets his name on the scoreboard in a fancy way as the 19-year-old opens his NBA debut against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The athletic swingman's first game is one of the most anticipated debuts in the league this season and Green once again proves that he's fit for the NBA as he tricked Wolves' Karl-Anthony Towns with a slick up reverse lay-up.

Here's Green's first NBA bucket:

The former G League standout has been turning heads since the preseason as he had an impressive summer with the Rockets. Unfortunately, his preseason was cut short after a minor hamstring injury ruled him out for the rest of the Summer League. But now, it seems that all systems are a go for the Filipino-American as he opens his promising NBA career fittingly.

A lot of eyes are on Green as he beings his professional basketball journey in the NBA. After taking the G League route as part of the Ignite squad, the young scorer was one of the top prospects in the 2021 NBA Draft and ended up being snagged at the second spot by the rebuilding Houston franchise.

Green is now spearheading the attack for the young Rockets alongside Kevin Porter, Jr. and center Christian Wood. It's a new-look Rockets team but, with these young guns playing without anything to lose, this season is bound to get really interesting in H-Town.
