Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul is returning from his injury tonight as the team takes on the Washington Wizards.

Paul missed the last three games with a left adductor injury. Houston lost all three of those games, and also the game against he Lakers in which Paul got injured, bringing their losing streak to four games.

Paul's return will be much invited as the Rockets look to end the losing skid. Last night was another especially tough loss with Houston blowing a 26-point lead to the Boston Celtics and James Harden committing two offensive fouls in the final seconds as Boston secured the improbable victory.

In Paul's absence, Harden has been getting numbers — including two 51-point games — but not much else positive has been going on. The team even signed free agent Gerald Green yesterday to try and help weather the injury storm, which has not only included Paul but the likes of Luc Richard Mbah a Moute and Clint Capela as well.

The Wizards have not had the greatest start to the season themselves, but certainly boast some of the best backcourt talent in the NBA in John Wall and Bradley Beal. So Paul's return will only help the Rockets in tonight's effort to slow them down, not to mention the fact that Houston is on a back-to-back.
